San Francisco Engagement & Wedding Photographer: Ruchi & Vikash

Ruchi and Vikash - After viewing the first few pictures James took of us, we were awe-struck. He did an amazing job and far exceeding our expectations. We met him through one of our close friends who had also done some beautiful pictures with James. We decided to use James for a quick pre-engagement session and for a longer pre-wedding session.

When we first decided on a location, we were all planning on meeting at an outdoor location, but at the last minute had to change the location due to rain. James decided on Fort Point, under the Golden Gate Bridge. When we arrived on the day of our shoot, we noticed two things. The first was that the location was a great choice, and two that it was cold! (To be fair, we should mention that while one of us was in 3 layers and a leather jacket, one of us was even colder in just a dress!)

The shoot itself was a great experience. James had us try various spots throughout Fort Point and he was able to give each location its own identity. As all 3 of us battled the cold, we shared some laughs and enjoyed the shoot.

For us, the aspect we appreciated most about James was his willingness to not rush through the experience. Even though it was supposed to be a short shoot, James took his time and never once did we feel rushed.

A few days later, James was able to send us a small selection for the hundreds of pictures he took (the ones you see above) and any small fears we may have had about the location or the poses he chose for us were completely discarded. James obviously knows his stuff and his work is fantastic.

We ended up choosing 4 of the above pictures to blow up for our engagement party, but because of a problem with e-mails, we were only able to enlarge 3 of them in time for the party. The best part of this entire process was the number of compliments we received from our guests. Some of our guests even thought we had jetted off on a secret trip to Europe to take some of these pictures!

Everyone has really loved the pictures, and we have had more than a few requests for James’ number. We will definitely pass them along to him and are really happy that the reaction to our photo shoot has been so enthusiastic. Thanks James! We can’t wait until our longer photo shoot in April.

Sincerely,

Ruchi and Vikash

James - Thank you so much for the wonderful comment! I can’t wait to work with both of you again in the spring!
