This was a different kind of session for me. After all, it is not that often that I get to meet a famous flat track motorcycle racer! For those of you who are unfamiliar with flat track racing, here is a quick synopsis: Oval dirt track, speeds well over 100mph, and LOTS of dust! This is not for the faint of heart, that is for sure!
I was contacted by the American Motorcyclist Association to photograph Shayna Texter for an upcoming publication they will be running next month. We decided to meet in one of the old parts of Fremont – Niles, to be precise for some old, weathered backgrounds. More will follow of course when the magazine comes out, but for now, enjoy this sneak peek of a few of my favorites from this short session.
