I have been photographing this amazing family every year since their adorable little girl was just a newborn! I can’t believe how much she has grown! For this Mom and daughter session, we ventured to a more urban setting in downtown San Jose. We found some cool places to explore and had a lot of fun jumping, skipping, and twirling along the way! I love how expressive and full of energy their little one was. It was awesome to capture!

For those families planning their own session, urban shoots are a lot of fun, especially when the kiddos are a little older (around 5 and up) and can more safely navigate their way around. For younger kids, I recommend a park or beach as a safer environment to roam and have fun for the session so that their beautiful personalities shine through!
