It was a beautiful late Spring day with a gentle breeze blowing through the oak trees when Douglas, along with his friends & family assembled for his baraat – a procession that would culminate in joining Angana, his bride to be for their wedding ceremony. From the moment the drums began, you could feel the energy and celebration as Doug made his way down the drive where Angie was waiting with a curtain covering her from view. Then, the curtain was lifted and he and Angie exchanged garlands and blessings; the ceremony began! And what a beautiful ceremony it was! Full of joyful emotion and celebration, it was amazing to witness (and capture)!
