As the warm weather fades and the days get shorter, I thought I would post a few more beautiful images of summer as we usher in the start of fall. These are images that haven’t made it to my blog yet (this has been a very busy late summer for me!), but I thought now would be a good time to show them with summer still somewhat fresh in our minds. I took her to a beach in Pacifica near San Francisco during a recent heat wave here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Between building mountains of sand together and trying to keep her out of trouble (yes, if there is trouble/danger anywhere to be found, she will find it!), I managed to snap a few shots – here’s one of them.Come on Papa! Here is where my daughter is pretending to be Dora the Explorer (her favorite) and cross the bridge. This was my only chance to capture her quick glance back at me before she took off and I ran after her! Yes, you have to be quick and you have to have fast equipment too!
