San Jose Indian Wedding Photographer | Gurkaran & Sharan Part I

I remember shooting Gurkaran & Sharan’s engagement session last Spring in San Francisco (have a look here). We had such an amazing time and I knew photographing their wedding was going to be incredible too. Held at the Gurdwara Sahib of San Jose, the largest Sikh temple in North America, it was absolutely spectacular! So full of color, intricate details, and emotion (just wait until you see her vidai in my next post), it was quite a visual feast. We are so glad to have had the opportunity to photograph this lovely couple on their wedding day. Sharan looked incredible – I loved her mehndi and incredibly detailed red lengha. Her nose ring was also a great touch. Gurkaran looked  kingly riding on a decorated white horse for his baraat. Not only does a horse add visual appeal, but it also puts him high above the crowd so that he stands out during the baraat, as well he should!

Thank you both for sharing your wedding day with us and congratulations! I can’t wait to show you more (wedding party, vidai, and of course, the reception celebration that followed 2 days later are coming soon)! For now, enjoy your first sneak peek!
